On 9/21/09 at 7:28 PM officers of the Quincy Police Department served a search warrant at 1115 N. 5th #3. Officers seized a quantity of cannabis (between 30 and 500 grams) and US Currency. The resident, Tiso A. Griffin, 21, was arrested and lodged at the Adams County Jail. Members of the Adams County Sheriff's Department assisted.

Christina L. Meyers of 1200 S. 12th Apt. B reported on 09-14-09 that she had two rings stolen off of her dresser. Meyers stated that one of the rings was her High School class ring which she described as silver in color, with a dark stone, and the name "Chrissy" engraved on it. Meyers stated that the second ring was also silver in color with a purple stone in it, in the shape of a diamond. Meyers stated that the theft occurred between 2030 and 2045 hours on 09-14-09. Investigation to continue.

Michael T. Peters of 1118 Cherry reported that his locked shed in his backyard had been entered sometime between 09/03/09 and 09/10/09. Peters stated that a Stihl brand gas powered leaf blower and a Stihl brand gas powered weed eater were stolen from his shed. Peters stated that the thief(thieves) also removed the locked padlock that had been on his shed. Peters had no suspects in the theft.
