(MyQuincyArea.Com) Fort Madison, IA - A Fort Madison man has been charged for assualting his girfreind with a Christmas tree branch. The man arrested was Kevin Shrum, 41 of Quincy, has been charged with a misdemeanor domestic assault.
Reports show that Schrum got in an arguement and starting fighting with his girlfriend, over where to set up their Christmas tree. Shortly the incident escalated into a fight, where shrum took off some tree branches off the tree and struck his girlfreind. Reports also show that the woman's injuries were minor.
