Missouri woman pleads guilty in grain fraud case...

(MyQuincyArea.Com) Quincy, IL - 45-year-old, Cathy Gieseker, of Martinsburg, pleaded guilty in U.S.  She was charged for one felony count of mail fraud, and admitted to a multimillion-dollar Missouri grain fraud scheme. 

The scheme started in October 2002, and defrauded over 175 farmers out of over $25 million from grain sales. 

Cathy was a former grain dealer and owner of  Missouri trucking company and faced up to 15 state and federal felony charges.  Gieseker is currently facing up to 20 years in prison, and up to $250,000 in restitution and fines. 

Her sentencing date is currently set for February-25-2010
